Type: Full-Time | Office-Based with Some Travel

Build Your Career at JPAK

JPAK Engineering delivers projects across oil & gas, power generation, industrial manufacturing, and emerging energy technologies. Working alongside experienced engineers, EITs contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from detailed design and documentation to construction support, commissioning, and start-up.

This role is well suited to engineers who enjoy technical problem-solving, field involvement, and developing skills across multiple disciplines. The variety of work and level of responsibility often come earlier than they do at larger firms.

What You’ll Work On

Perform engineering calculations and develop technical documentation to support detailed design.
Prepare construction packages, scopes of work, bid documents, and project deliverables.
Develop and maintain engineering workbooks including I/O lists, load lists, safety matrices, and calculation sheets.
Design control systems including panel schematics, network diagrams, PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
Participate in site visits, FAT/CAT testing, relay testing, commissioning, inspections, and walkdowns.
Support project execution through collaboration with contractors, vendors, operations personnel, and senior engineers.
Research equipment specifications and technical manuals to support project design and implementation.

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Electrical or Process Engineering.
Eligibility for membership with APEGA, EGBC, or APEGS.
New graduates and EITs with 1-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
Comfort working in both office and field environments.
Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
A dependable, team-first attitude.
